A 1.25� diameter entrance hole sits at the top of this roost, welcoming birds to it, and the pitched roof protects them from the elements. Two drainage holes on the flat base of this house help the nest remain dry, while a significant back panel removes easily for cleaning and checking the nest. Ventilation holes on the back help regulate the interior temperature, and a mounting tab swings upward so the home can effortlessly be placed against a wall, post, or other flat vertical surface. A piece of screening is attached to the interior of the house beneath the entry hole, so nestlings can reach it without difficulty.
