Easily make oriole nectar at home using the Heritage Farms Clear Oriole Nectar. This mix dissolves easily in cold water, so it is perfect for kids to make, becoming more interested in birding. Use 2 tablespoons of this mix per cup of water, or add the entire package to 2 quarts of water to create 64 ounces of oriole nectar. This clear liquid is a staple of oriole diets, and will easily fill your favorite oriole nectar feeder.

Many birders prefer using instant nectar as it can be made conveniently, without boiling any water. Nectar may also be made at home by boiling water and mixing in white granulated sugar. Be sure to view our directions for making Oriole Nectar at home.

Note: We do not recommend adding any dye or food coloring to nectar, as research indicates that these may be harmful to the birds and are not necessary for attracting them.
