| Heritage Farms Clear Hummingbird Nectar, 8 oz. Easily make hummingbird nectar at home using the Heritage Farms Clear Hummingbird Nectar. This mix dissolves easily in cold water, perfect for helping kids become interested in birding. Use 3 tablespoons of this mix per cup of water, or add the entire package to 6 cups of water to create 48 ounces of hummingbird nectar. This clear liquid is a favorite treat of hummingbirds, and will easily fill your favorite nectar feeder.
Many birders prefer using instant nectar as it can be made conveniently, without boiling any water. Nectar may also be made at home by boiling water and mixing in white granulated sugar. Be sure to view our directions for making Hummingbird Nectar at home.
Note: We do not recommend adding any dye or food coloring to nectar, as research indicates that these may be harmful to the hummingbirds and are not necessary for attracting them.
