Orange, pink, and yellow hues blend together on the sides of the unit, creating the familiar peach color and evoking the fuzz on its skin. A three dimensional, red and yellow pit near the base of the piece lends additional realism, completed by a metal stem and leaf shape at the top. The bottom extends outward on both sides, forming the peach silhouette and creating a feeding area. Seed, kept in the center reservoir, empties onto this base tray for birds to enjoy it. The reservoir holds 0.375 quarts of sunflower or mixed seed, and a perch on each side of the base enables two birds to sit while dining. The slight lip around the bottom tray offers perching room for additional birds. An attached fabric cord allows the feeder to hang from a branch in moments, while the squeeze tab at the top keeps other animals from lifting the roof.
