Brass couplings offer unrestricted and secure water flow with a removable end cap for flushing. The exterior surface features a convenient white stripe to aid in proper positioning. Place the white stripe up for an even and consistent spray every time. Place the hose with the white stripe down to soak directly into the soil, ideal for young growth and new plantings. To determine the proper watering rate for your garden or flowerbed, place an empty tuna can within the bed, and check it regularly. The rate at which it fills will help determine your rate of pressure. This hose is recommended to be used at a pressure of 10 to 15 pounds per square inch (PSI) for individual runs up to 100 feet.
