The patented 8-ply construction uses double tire cord reinforced foam layers for strength and superior flexibility with maximum kink resistance, even in sub-freezing conditions. A specialized, Tri-Lobe oval EZ-On coupler and protective metal spring at the end resist kinks at the spigot. Machined brass couplings with built-in washers provide unrestricted and secure water flow. The exterior surface is polished and treated to resist stains, mold growth, and surface abrasions, and the item has a burst strength rating of 500 PSI.
