This station offers thorough weather information at a glance, with its vivid color LCD screen and sleek design. The top line of the screen indicates the time, and below that has the rainfall in your choice of millimeters or inches with an animated rain icon. The bottom of the screen shows the indoor and outdoor temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, and a color bar graph above this offers a graphic representation of the temperature. The rainfall amount information is obtained from a wireless rain collector placed outdoors, with a debris screen and self-emptying cup for accurate measurements. A sensor placed outdoors up to 98 feet away sends the outside temperature data to the console, and the unit tracks accumulated rainfall amounts. For added versatility, set the calendar on the station and use its alarm clock for complete weather information when you awaken. The indoor console uses the included AC adapter for power, while the rain gauge runs on two AA batteries (not included) and the thermometer requires two AAA batteries (not included).
