Easily add a convenient and exciting feeder to your bird garden with The Effort-Less Hang-Up Bird Feeder with Squirrel Baffle. The significant size and fun design of this item will excite the avian visitors to your yard. A dramatic, plastic seed reservoir has a tulip bloom shape, tapering at the base and expanding toward the top. This tube holds 2 quarts of safflower seed, mixed seed, or cracked corn, to feed a wealth of birds. The two arched openings on the base of the feed tube allow seed to exit onto the seed tray, so birds may access it. Eight small holes along the bottom of the 8.25� diameter tray help seed stay dry, keeping it safe and fresh for birds, while a hexagonal roof protects the rest of the tube. A loop at the top of this plastic roof accommodates your hook or hanger (not included), to suspend this unit from a tree, wall, or shepherd hook. The included, 0.875� diameter metal pole section runs through the center of the feeder and out its base, holding the seed tube in place with a linchpin. When the pin is removed, the feeder freely lowers down the pole to the stopper for cleaning and refilling without reaching or bending. An integrated seed baffle at the bottom of the reservoir keeps seed moving toward the ports, and the feeder slides back up the pole when full for an avian feast. A 16� diameter squirrel baffle sits on the pole section beneath the feeder, deterring squirrels from stealing seed. The plastic and resin body will easily withstand harsh weather, and the black color keeps the unit timeless.
