| CareFree Fountain Oxidizer, 16 oz. Effectively remove string algae from your pond or water garden with the CareFree Fountain Oxidizer. String algae, which is actually a plant similar to blanket weed, can be detrimental to a pond's health and overall appearance. The Oxidizer is designed to clear string algae and other contaminants from rocks and substrates without killing fish or plants by over oxygenating the water. Once stripped from rocks, liner, and other substrate string algae can be filtered and eliminated from your pond or water garden.
Simply use one ounce of CareFree Oxidizer per 250 gallons of water every third day until areas are free from contaminants. Once your water is clear of contaminants, add one ounce of Oxidizer per 250 gallons of water at two-week intervals. Be sure to follow package directions carefully as overdosing will not improve effectiveness. Made in the USA.
Note: The CareFree Oxidizer will cause water to become cloudy due to suspended particles released from substrate. Cleaning filters are necessary to remove released particles and debris.
