An image of a screech owl clinging onto a branch is burnt into the front panel of each home, and ventilation holes near the top of each provide temperature regulation. A unique thumbscrew at the base of the front panel keeps both homes securely latched, and a sliding baffle enables you to close each roost at the end of the season. This wooden slat rests within grooves on the sides of the home, and can sit at the bottom of the roost to protect eggs and nestlings during maintenance. Slide the panel upward and use the included wooden tabs to keep it in place, blocking the entry hole when these birds are no longer nesting. Securely mount these shelters to a post or tree by drilling through the back and top lip on each.
