The heavy duty, steel Heath Telescoping Gourd Pole Kit offers a fun configuration, accommodating the eight included Heath Two-Piece Martin Gourds. Each horizontal aluminum rod threads through the predrilled holes on the pole at offset angles, and a gourd on each end creates a spiral design. The innovative, crescent shaped entry hole on each gourd prevents larger birds from overtaking the home, and its perforated bottom edge may be removed to create a round hole if desired. The telescoping pole raises and lowers with ease for nest checks and maintenance, and the white color of the gourds keeps them cool throughout the summer months.
