| Bird - X YardGard Pest Repellent Prevent wild animals from ruining your lawn with the Bird – X YardGard Pest Repellent. This item uses high frequency sound waves to keep dogs, cats, rodents, bats, skunks, opossums, armadillos, raccoons, deer, and insects out of your yard. Most of the sound waves are above the range of human hearing, but will interfere with that of animals. Through repeated exposure to the sounds, animals will learn not to frequent the unit's effective range. Turn the knob on the back of the unit, choosing the type of animal you wish to deter. The built-in motion detector enables the option to operate only when an animal passes in front of the unit. Use a screwdriver to adjust the motion sensor sensitivity from low to high. The repellent runs on 4 C batteries or uses the included AC adapter for power. When batteries are the sole source of power, the unit will only operate when an animal activates the motion detector. If using the AC adapter, the unit can be set to operate continuously or use the built-in motion sensor. The unit has an effective range of approximately 4,000 square feet. The waterproof green plastic casing offers protection from the elements, enabling the item to withstand harsh weather. Use the YardGard Pest Repellent outside your home for a pest free garden season after season. Batteries are not included.
