A red knob, rim, and line around the base complete the effect. The center reservoir accommodates 1 quart of mixed or other seed, and the two ports allow it to empty onto the attached tray. Two drainage holes on the tray prevent water from accumulating, so seed stays dry and fresh. Cut outs along the seed reservoir help you monitor feed levels, and a plastic insert inside the item keeps seed from spilling out of these holes.
