This unit offers unsurpassed function in its three types of filtration. The skimmer captures large debris from the surface of the water in the included leaf basket. Four bristled brushes catch more large debris, and a polishing mat keeps small pieces of dirt out of the pond.
Place your submersible pond pump directly into the skimmer's basin to hide and protect it. Placing your pump in this cavity makes piping convenient and offers unbeatable access. The included 2.375" diameter hole in the back of the filter offers plenty of room to thread your 2" tubing through it. The side of the filter also features an optional overflow outlet. If desired, open this hole and add a bulkhead and tubing to it, helping drain any overflow of water. This multifunctional filtration unit includes two faceplates, one with a 7.875" opening, and another with a 5.875" opening. Use the large weir with a pump up to 2,500 GPH, or use the small weir for smaller pumps. Attach the weir with the included screws and silicone adhesive, for a working skimmer in minutes.
