This significant feeder brings a wealth of birds to your garden for variety and excitement. A recycled plastic frame and roof form a sturdy item, with clear plastic panels creating a seed reservoir. This generous reservoir holds up to 3 quarts of sunflower seed, peanut splits, or mixed seed, and feeding stations on both sides offer extra perching room. The clear plastic panels keep feed levels visible, and angle inward toward the bottom of the unit to keep it moving. A metal mesh base helps seed stay dry, by enabling any excess water to drain. The pitched roof protects the seed, and one side lifts for cleaning. Suet cages flank the reservoir, allowing you to offer more variety of feed and see different types of birds dining. The 1" x 0.5" rectangular openings on the suet cages allow birds ready access to their treat, and each cage opens from the top for easy refilling. The post consumer plastic construction adds hardiness to the item, while offering an environmentally sound feeder, and faux wood detailing lends realism to it.
