The basin is formed like a bird in mid flight, with a small eye and beak on one end and a defined tail on the other. This engaging shape captures the imagination of the viewer, and is perfectly enhanced by the light blue glaze and natural ceramic color. The rim provides perching for a few birds at once, and the gradual slope of the small basin is perfect for smaller birds to bathe. Each bath is handcrafted, and fired to 2400� Fahrenheit for a durable, vitreous product that will not fade, decay, or break down after exposure to UV light.
